Here’s What We’re About!

At Dandelion Therapy, we believe that people are not problems to be fixed. We believe that children, teens, adults, parents, and families deserve to be met with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their unique ways of experiencing the world.

Our work is neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, creative, and relational. This means we focus on understanding each person’s nervous system, story, strengths, needs, and environment, rather than trying to change who they are. We believe support should be collaborative, flexible, and paced in a way that feels safe and respectful.

We do not believe in forcing compliance, masking, or pushing people to become more convenient for others. Instead, we believe in making space for expression, autonomy, connection, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

Like dandelions, people are often more resilient, adaptive, and full of possibility than they are given credit for. We believe that healing and growth happen when people feel understood, supported, and free to show up as themselves
